- Lima Beans
- Great Northern Beans
- (Optional Navy/Chili Beans)
- Sweet Potato
- Seaweed (California Sea Palm)
- Garlic Gold® Sea Salt Nuggets
- Garlic Gold® Oil
I have put together a really nice meal perfect for those cold winter nights to help warm you up. The recipe includes beans, sweet potato, seaweed, and of course, Garlic Gold®. Please note: The dry beans should be looked over for possible small stones, washed, and then soaked for 24 hours before cooking… And remember, when you use the best of ingredients, the outcome is great tasting food, for Pennies a Serving. There is no measuring needed and anyone can do it. Just keep in mind how many people you are going to serve and prepare as much ingredients as needed…
Place beans in a stainless steel 2 1/2 quart saucepan. Fill to about half full. Now place pure reverse osmosis water over the beans to about the 3/4 mark on the saucepan. Cook on a medium temperature for approximately 2 hours. Then, slice a sweet potato/yam into small pieces and place a handful of California Sea Palm into the mix and cook for an additional hour or so, until soft. Within about 20 minutes of the food being done, mix in two Tablespoons of Garlic Gold® Sea Salt Nuggets and stir. When food is off the burner, place two Tablespoons of Garlic Gold® Oil for added flavor. Goes very well with salad!
